Companion, not a replacement · Demo stage

Document PRN medication – without Excel, without double work.

Capture individual and PRN medication cleanly and prepare the handover — Carenji runs alongside your existing care software like Myneva, Sanocon or Vivendi.

Runs alongside your existing care software. No obligation – we'll show you.

Early stage — see it in a demo with test data. Collective subdelegation is prepared for a possible future regulation, not current law.

What Carenji does today: What Carenji deliberately is not:

What Carenji does today:

  • Capture PRN/individual medication and track stock instead of Excel
  • Document and trace administrations
  • Model the collective handover at ward level – for the case that a future regulation permits it.

What Carenji deliberately is not:

  • Not a medical device – it documents and organises; it does not diagnose, dose, monitor or alert clinically
  • Not a ready legal solution – a collective subdelegation is prepared for a possible reform, not currently applicable law
  • No live operation with resident data yet – what you see runs on test data.

Every administration is traceably signed off — who, when, which stock — as an auditable record for handover and oversight.

Carenji in action

Three steps from everyday care – sign off a PRN dose, reorder stock, document the handover. With test data.

Bulk-order view: pack-size optimization with prescription-fee savings
Carenji turns documented administrations into the order list — and optimises pack sizes before order day.
Administering a PRN dose: confirmation dialog with available stock
Sign off a PRN dose with a tap — the server checks resident, order limits and stock first.
Collective subdelegation cockpit with an acknowledged handover for the morning round
The handover for the round, documented as a single record — with the round's exceptions in view (prepared for a possible reform, switchable).

PRN medication – no longer from Excel, but from Carenji

PRN out of Excel

Individual and PRN medication is captured and signed off in Carenji instead of scattered spreadsheets.

Stock and reorder by pack size

Administered doses count down stock and turn into a pack-size-optimised order list.

Traceable handover

The round's handover is documented as a single, auditable record for the next shift.

Runs alongside your software

Carenji sits on top of Myneva, Sanocon or Vivendi — no rebuild, no classic integration costs.

EU data and traceability

Data is held in the EU; every action stays searchable and auditable.

Less Excel. More time for residents.

Individual and PRN Medication – without Excel

Many homes today order PRN medication via manually maintained Excel lists. Carenji takes over exactly this step: you record an administration with a tap, stock counts down in the background, and Carenji shows you well before order day what needs reordering – including pack size. Carenji organises and records; decisions and dosing remain with your qualified staff as before. Available today.

Record an administration with a tap, stock counts automatically

Reorder hint before the weekly order day

With the right pack size, the number of prescription charges can mathematically reduce.

Illustrative calculation, depends on your prescribing practice, no guaranteed saving.

Collective Subdelegation at Ward Level – prepared for a possible reform

Individual subdelegations for each medication are barely manageable. Carenji instead models the ordered collective step: ordered once, properly documented, and transferred to the care record. Important: prepared for a possible future regulation within the ongoing evaluation of the Wiener Pflegeheimgesetz – whether and how a collective subdelegation may be permitted in future is open. Until then, the feature remains switchable – you decide what your facility deploys.

Note: This feature is prepared for a possible future regulation. Whether and how a collective subdelegation may be permitted in future is decided by the legislator – Carenji makes no statement that a collective subdelegation is permissible today. Competence for prescription and delegation continues to be governed by the GuKG and rests with your qualified nursing staff.

Companion, Not a Replacement

Care documentation software as a companion for nursing homes

Carenji sits on top of your existing care software – designed for homes that work with Myneva, Sanocon or Vivendi and don't want to rebuild everything. Carenji is designed so that no classic integration costs arise, and relies on a manageable monthly subscription. What Carenji takes off your hands in routine work is time that goes back to the residents.

You keep your system of record. Carenji captures PRN at the point of care and produces a traceable, exportable handover that your team transfers into the care record — no classic integration costs means no custom middleware project. We show the export in a demo.

About us

Carenji founders Joanna Pecina (COO & CEO) and Wojciech Kulma (CTO & CEO)

Joanna

COO & CEO

I always wanted to help people, which is why during my school years I volunteered for three years at a care home for the elderly. Even then I saw the challenges that care-home staff face every day, and the absence of a smile on the residents' faces said it all. More than a decade later I realised that little had changed – and that was the moment when, together with Wojciech, we created Carenji.

Wojciech

CTO & CEO

By training I'm a software developer and a stockbroker, but I always wanted to get involved socially. When my grandfather moved into a care home in 2023, I understood that I could use my skills to build a tool that streamlines the processes in care homes and, in turn, makes the carers' work easier. At Carenji I'm responsible for the technical side and the strategy.

Our mission

"The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do." — Steve Jobs

We know we won't change the whole world, but we believe Carenji will change the lives of seniors and care-home staff for the better. We want care-home staff to be able to focus on what matters most in their work – caring for the residents. Bureaucracy, medication chaos, and no time for residents are a thing of the past. With Carenji, we want to make managing a care home sustainably simpler.

Partners & Supporters

  • Austria Wirtschaftsservice (aws) logo

Carenji is supported under an aws programme by Austria Wirtschaftsservice GmbH – the Austrian federal promotional bank for founders. Institutional early-stage support for the company – not a customer reference and no statement about the medical or legal suitability of Carenji.
