No. Carenji is not a medical device. It documents and organises and displays recorded values with their reference ranges; it does not diagnose, does not dose and makes no clinical decisions – those stay with your qualified staff.

Does Carenji replace my care documentation?

Accepted Answer

No. Your leading care record stays in place. Carenji takes on the medication and bedside part of the day – orders, the round, PRN medication, stock, vitals – and delivers a traceable, exportable handover.

Is Carenji compatible with Myneva, Sanocon or Vivendi?

Accepted Answer

Carenji runs alongside these systems; getting started requires no integration project. Your team transfers handovers and exports in the place it already uses. We discuss the details of your setup in a demo call.

How is data security ensured?

We use industry-standard encryption and follow strict data protection protocols in compliance with the GDPR (DSGVO). Data location is EU.

Question 5

What is the legal status of collective subdelegation?

Accepted Answer

Carenji is prepared for a possible future regulation within the ongoing evaluation of the Wiener Pflegeheimgesetz. Whether and how a collective subdelegation may be permitted in future is decided by the legislator. Competence for prescription and delegation continues to be governed by the GuKG and rests with your qualified nursing staff. Until then, the feature remains switchable.

What stage is Carenji at?

Demo stage: everything you see in the demo runs on test data. We are looking for pilot partners from Austrian long-term care who want to try Carenji with us under real conditions.

Who sees which data?

Accepted Answer

Care staff see the residents of their own facility. Relatives get – when the facility creates the access – a window limited to the linked person, with no write access to the care record; residents see only their own data. Data is held in the EU.
